Vulpi is a mobile application that allows users to discover nearby people, interact through chat requests, and communicate via private messages. The privacy and protection of our users' personal data is an absolute priority for us.

2. Personal Data We Collect

Vulpi only collects the data necessary for the proper functioning of the application and the provision of premium services:

• Account data: user identifier, email, nickname, and authentication provider.
• Profile data: profile picture, description, gender, and visible preferences.
• Location data: approximate and temporary location, used exclusively to show nearby users and chats on the radar.
• Messages: content of messages sent and received within the application.
• Technical data: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for sending notifications and basic device identifiers.
• Subscription and payment data: status of your premium subscription (Vulpi Pro) and transaction history. We do not collect or store bank details or credit card numbers. All payments are securely processed through third-party platforms (Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and RevenueCat).

Vulpi does not collect device contacts, private media content, or sensitive data unrelated to the functioning of the app.

3. Use of Location

The user's location is the core of Vulpi and is used exclusively to:

• Detect nearby users and public chats in real-time.
• Show proximity-based interactions and generate the crossing history.

The location is processed temporarily, securely, and is not used for advertising purposes. The user can disable location access at any time from their device settings (although this will limit the main functionality of the app).

4. Purpose of Processing and Third-Party Services

Personal data is used solely to:

• Enable communication and discovery between users.
• Manage chat requests and acceptances.
• Manage premium statuses (Vulpi Pro) and unlock their features.
• Send notifications related to messages or requests.
• Ensure the security and moderation of the platform.

The data is not sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. We only share the strictly necessary information with our technology infrastructure providers (Google Cloud/Firebase for database and notifications, and RevenueCat for subscription status management).

5. Push Notifications

Vulpi uses push notifications to inform users of:

• New messages.
• New chat requests.

These notifications are sent via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). The user can disable them at any time from their device settings.

6. Data Retention

Personal data is kept as long as the user's account is active.

The user can delete their account at any time from the app settings. By doing so, their personal data, profile, messages, and location will be irreversibly deleted or anonymized in accordance with current legislation.

7. User Rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable laws, the user has the right to:

• Access their personal data.
• Rectify incorrect data.
• Request the deletion of their data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restrict or object to processing.

8. Security

Vulpi applies appropriate technical and organizational measures, such as encryption of communications in transit (HTTPS) and secure databases, to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.

This policy may be updated to reflect legal or functional changes. The date of the last update will always be indicated at the top of this document. We will notify you through the app if we make substantial changes.
